Riding on a Cardinals high

Manager Tony La Russa passed St. Louis announcer Mike Shannon in the hallway after the dramatic Game 5 win.

"Now that," said a smiling La Russa, "was Cardinal baseball.

I haven't posted in awhile, due to how busy I've been at work lately, as well as figuring no one really read my posts anyway... However the emails came pouring in that they were glad I was back. So, as you may have guessed... I am a HUGE St. Louis Cardinal's baseball fan. I have been my whole life and the fall baseball season always brings the crazed fan out of me as the full moon does a werewolf. . . I LOVE CARDINALS BASEBALL!!! I wear red and/or a Cardinals shirt everyday during the playoffs (i have all different color cards shirts). I even have red Crocs shoes, to go with my jersey and shirts. My IM icon is an STL logo. We hang a huge Cardinals banner off our front porch proclaiming not only our St. Louis heritage but our pride of being St. Louis Cardinals fans for the postseason playoffs. My SUV has a Cardinals mirrored front plate, on the rear a chrome Cardinals license plate frame as well as a STL logo magnet on the back. I also have a nice white Apple sticker on there as well.... But that's for another crazed fan blog.

I will be glued to my TV tonight for Game 6 of the NLCS Championships at Busch Stadium. Pleading and praying that the Cardinals will beat Roy Oswalt the starting pitcher for the Astros tonight to extend the series to Game 7.

Now that you all think I'm completely psycho. Until tomorrow... I hope I won't be dressed in all black mourning the end of the 2005 season.
