Saturday Errands

Why is it the only day you have to get stuff done around the house is Saturday. But it doesn't since the whole day is spent doing errands...

Today was such a day... The day started at 10:30 am having to take Princess (our cat) to the vet, stop one. After returning home with a cranky feline, we had to go get two new tires for one of the vehicles, stop two. So I followed in my SUV, so we could get stuff done while waiting all day for the tires to get mounted on the car. Third stop, Chux Trucks... I need a cargo mat for my SUV. That was a waste of a trip, all they had was one brand for $79 that was basically a piece of thin plastic that reminded me of a litter box liner. Stuff would still slide around, but if it happened to pop open and spill, it would be contained in this fancy piece of plastic. How about one that is rubbery that stuff doesn't slide, is that too hard? Fourth stop, a visit to 24 Hour Fitness where we are contemplating a gym membership. No more contemplating, Monday we are joining the gym. Stop five, back to the tire place to see if the car was finished, since it had already been several hours. It was finished but still had more to do, so on to stop six. The Organized Living store in Overland Park is going out of business, so everything is 40% off. Since we are trying to get our lives organized (preparing for a move) we went to see if there were any deals to make our lives simpler. I found a computer desk that I HAD to have. It was marked down to $100. Lucky for me the stoopid girl rang it up at 52% off so I got it for $81 instead. SCORE! Stop seven was yet again another trip to the tire store to pick up the car... Stop eight, back home to leave the SUV and the car at home, and pick up the truck and go on to stop nine. Stop nine, was to pick up a table that she borrowed to use for a garage sale. Final return home- 5:00 pm.

Maybe tomorrow I'll get something done!
