win one, lose one?

isn't that how the saying goes? hopefully it doesn't turn into win some, lose some.... saturday night game one of the World Series i was totally pumped that we won the first game. which also threw every bit of my diet out the window and had a watch party... which included lots of junk food. it was a nice treat! my sister and her new husband came into town to spend the weekend with us and it was a really good time especially watching the game, spending quality time together that we don't get to do often. winning game one was the icing on the cake!

yesterday wasn't quite as fun, with walter and i sharing the leftovers from the party the night before watching Detroit's pitcher Kenny Rogers throw 8 run-less innings... he's a monster of a pitcher! all i can say is i'm glad he isn't pitching tomorrow's game three!
