never under-estimate the power of the rally cap

last night we watched the Cardinals lose 2-0 to the Mets, that's okay it was only game 1... no need to put me on suicide watch just yet....

so last night in the top of the 9th we remember to flip our caps into rally mode. there we were both sitting on the sofa, walter with his blue Cardinals rally cap and me with my red one screaming at the television... (hint on the rally cap, you never want to waste the magic by putting it on too early in the game when your team is down). as the game ended, i said- honey, it's our fault the cards lost. we didn't put on the rally caps til the 9th when it was almost over, there was no time for the cap to work it's magic... he said, o man, it is our fault! we should have put them on in the top of the 8th/late 7th the mojo would have had longer to work.

hopefully we won't need them tonight for game 2.
