Is it working yet?

Who knows! Yesterday was my first workout with my personal trainer. He took one look at my muscle-y biceps his eyes lit up and and asked me if I wanted to do body building shows. Of course I said no, but I'd like to look like I do! I want to be able to see definition in my arms (and legs) while relaxed, and still look feminine... I don't think that's too much to ask is it?

Anyway, I wouldn't call yesterdays workout a success other than if you think finding out your body-fat percentage is a good thing. I got pinched, measured and sized up then he showed me the proper form of several of the upper-body machines. He had me do one set, and they were all really easy. Today I can feel a little bit of tightness in my shoulders, so it feels like I did something yesterday. I'm looking forward to my real training sessions and getting to use the Body Gem to measure my resting metabolic rate, so I know exactly how many calories I need to have a day. Versus the standard 1200 to 1800 a day. Then I should really start to see results!

I've got goals, the first is to be able to fit in a bridesmaid dress I have to wear a month from yesterday. I'm terrified to even try it on, I really don't think it's going to fit! So I need to lose as many inches as possible in the next four weeks. The next goal is to keep that intensity up until I hit half of my current body-fat percentage. From then on I want keep getting more and more ripped. I've got my whey protien, multi-vitamins, fat burners, hoodia (appetite suppresant) and Omega 3 and Omega 6 Fatty Acids... I'm on my way.
