it was kinda scary.... we saw part of the first inning where the Mets scored three runs right away. then we went to the Art For The Cure charity auction at my buddy jill's catering/gallery space. it was a really great party and a lot of great art and hand-made goods. we left the party to go have dinner on the Plaza. when we walked into the restaurant we immediately were drawn to the flat panel tv at the bar with the game on. top of the 7th, 6-4 Mets. we were sad. i kept checking the score on my RAZR while we ate dinner. it was still the top of the 7th and the Cards scored two, tieing 6-6. We left at the top of the 8th to scramble home and catch the rest of the game. it was the 9th by the time we got home and while we were on the drive home the Cards managed to score 3 more... CARDS WIN! 9-6
